Unexpected decrease in sold homes in U.S.

Sales of existing homes in the U.S fell by 2.2 percent in May, at an estimated annual rate of 5.66 million units. Analysts had expected that sale would have rise by 6.0 percent, to an annual rate of 6.12, according to Bloomberg News forecast average.

The pace of sales in April was revised to 5.78 million units (5.77). The supply of existing homes for sale, in relation to the current sales pace, fell in May and “layer” is sufficient, therefore, to cover sales in 8.3 months, compared with unaudited 8.4 months in April. Media prices rose with 2.7 percent to $ 179.600, compared th the same month last year.
