Solar panels will soon be making money for its Spanish owners. Those who are connected to the Endesa electricity whose panels absorb more energy than they use will be able to give back the surplus in the net and then have the value deducted from their bill.

Isabel de Haro from the Andalusian Energy Agency says it is currently developing a way for people to sell the difference between the energy they consume and what they produce.

A well-placed five KW solar panel can generate up to 7.500 kWh per year – based on an average of 1.500 sunshine hours per year in Spain.

They use probably only half of the energy that the solar panel generates, and you can then sell the remaining energy that can then be used by other Spanish consumers.

Many Scandinaviens, Brittish and Germany properties owners havs for many years put up sun panels on the houses and have take care of the free Spanish sun already.

The new development will take effect in 2013, and all in how much you can get when they sell the Spanish sun.
