The Spanish oli company Repsol plans to in 2013 to carry out investigations on the seabed off the Mijas and Fuengirola to find gas fields that can be used for commercial purposes. Already this year, the decision may be Repsol to launch investigations to find the best gas deposits.

The Oli Company Repsol by Ripsa which will examine four areas off the coast of the province of Málaga, in collaboration with Gas Natural and its affiliates Petroleum Oil & Gas.

The mission is called “Siroco” and there will be surveys of seabed off Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Málaga and Rincón de la Victoria in an area of 220.544 hectares.

“Siroco D” represents an area of 13.784 hectares outside Mijas and Fuengirola, where the Spanish oli Company Repsol with Ripsa has permission to prospect for February 2014.
