Junta de Andalucia wants to build a car inspection hall more in Benalmadena, when we are still wait for the completion of car inspection halls in San Pedro, Mijas and Cartama. The local Andalucia government will now also build a car inspection hall in Benalmadena.

It was Antonio Avila (PSOE), a member of the Junta de Andalucía with responsibility for finance, innovation and science in January served the news during a visit to Benalmadena. It will cost around two million Euros to build the display and control hall for cars, a so-called Inspecvión Tecnica de Vehículos – or ITV.

Benalmadena mayor, Javier Carneros (PSOE), also stated that the plant will be built near the connection to the A-7 at the Arroyo de la Miel. ITV’en should be able to take care up to 45.000 cars a year. It will not only meet the need for Benalmadena and Torremolinos, but also take some of the burden from the car inspection hall in the Guadalhorce in Malaga and accommodate a future increase in the number of vehicles.

The project would start in 10 to 12 months. The new building for car inspection hall must still believed to have set in line with others, planned ITV’er already planned in both Mijas and Cártama, and of course San Pedro de Alcantara, where the car inspection hall would have been ready for use in 2010. Now the Junta de Andalucía announced that it will be finished before the summer. (They don’t say which summer as nornal) they want to build a car inspection hall in Benalmadena.
