Spain has overtaken Germany as Europe’s leading producer of wind power. The Spanish Wind Energy Association AEE, produced in Spanish wind turbine 42.976 gigawatt hours last year, equivalent to 16.4 percent of Spain’s total energy needs. In Germany was the production 36.500 gigawatt, it representing 6.2 percent of the total energy demand in Germany, according to an article by AEEs site.
